1 What are the benefits of the Deel integration?
The Deel integration allows you to manage your employees’ status in Nailted without effort:
We do a Deel synchronization to Nailted every 24 hours to retrieve the following information:
- When you add new people to Deel they are automatically transferred to Nailted on the date set for their first day of work.
- Modifying or removing a person from Deel also automatically modifies or removes them from Nailted.
- If you assign, remove or change someone’s manager, that change will automatically be reflected in Nailted.
2 How to connect Deel
To set up your Deel integration with Nailted, please follow up the steps below:
- Go to your Team section and click on the Add People button. Next, select the Configure new integration button that will redirect you to a new page containing all the available integrations.

- Access to your Deel account and click on the More section. Next, select the Developer option.
- Click on the Generate new token button to start with the integration set up.
- Write the label to identify your integration and click on the Next button that will appear.
- Go to the People scope and click on it. A number of options will appear, check the people:read option. Click on the Next button.
- Review your settings and click on the Generate button to get your token.
- Go back to Nailted and add the token that you have just copied to the Deel integration section.
- Finally, click on the Connect Deel button. If Nailted has already been launched into your organization, you can directly click on the Use this connection for synchronization button to activate the synchronization.
- If your company is new to Nailted, go to your Team section and click on the Add People button that appears. Next, select Import form integration. This will add all the users in Draft mode for you to activate them later on.
⚠️The email address stored on Deel and Nailted for a person needs to be the same one in order the integration to work correctly.
From this moment onwards, the synchronization with Deel will be done every 24 hours, although it can also be done manually if needed.
3 Can I preview what information will be added into Nailted?
Yes, once you have connected Deel to Nailted, you will be able to have a preview of all the employees and information that will be uploaded into the system. To do this, follow the next steps:
- Go to your Team section and click on the Add People button. Next, select the option Import from Deel.
- A new window will appear informing you that we will proceed to import in draft all the new employees detected in Deel. Click on the Import new employees button.
- The import process can take a few minutes to complete. Once finished, click on the See employees button to see all the employees detected from the system.
💡The new employees will be on draft mode, so they won’t be receiving any notification until you manually activate them.
4 Can I prevent certain users from being synchronized?
Yes, in those cases in which you have certain people that do not need to be synchronized every 24 hours, you can add them to a denylist.
💡To create a denylist, it is necessary to have activated Deel integration first.
To activate a denylist follow the steps below:
- Go to your ⚙️ Settings section. Next, click on Integrations.
- Select the option of Configure the denylist that will appear under your active synchronization.
- Finally, select the emails from Nailted that you do not want to synchronize and click on the Save button to save your changes.
💡You can also bulk email addresses by spacing them by commas (,)
⚠️ Adding a person to the denylist list, doesn't mean that their profile is disabled in Nailted. You will need to do this process manually in Nailted.
