What are the benefits of the HiBob integration?
The HiBob integration allows you to manage your employees’ status in Nailted without effort:
We do a HiBob synchronization to Nailted every 24 hours to retrieve the following information:
- When you add new people to HiBob they are automatically transferred to Nailted on the date set for their first day of work.
- Modifying or removing a person from HiBob also automatically modifies or removes them from Nailted.
- If you assign, remove or change someone’s manager, that change will automatically be reflected in Nailted.
How to connect Hibob
To set up your HiBob integration with Nailted, please follow up the steps below:
- Go to your Team section and click on the Add People button. Next, select the Configure new integration button that will redirect you to a new page containing all the available integrations.
- Next, log in into HiBob and direct yourself to Bob products. Next, click on System settings and select Integrations.
- Select Automation from the dropdown menu that appears under All categories.
- On the Service users tile, select Manage and click on + New service user.
- Write a unique name and a display name and click on the Next button. The new Api Service user’s ID and Token will be visible.
- Go back to Nailted and insert the ID and Token provided by HiBob in the text boxes provided. Once ready, click on the Connect HiBob button.
- Once HiBob and Nailted are connected, it is required to provide Nailted permissions to review the fields that will be connected to Nailted.
- Finally, click on the Use this connection for synchronization button to activate the synchronization.
⚠️The email address stored on HiBob and Nailted for a person needs to be the same one in order the integration to work correctly.
From this moment onwards, the synchronization with HiBob will be done every 24 hours, although it can also be done manually if needed.
Can I preview what information will be added into Nailted?
Yes, once you have connected HiBob to Nailted, you will be able to have a preview of all the employees and information that will be uploaded into the system. To do this, follow the next steps:
- Go to your Team section and click on the Add People button. Next, select the option Import from HiBob.
- A new window will appear informing you that we will proceed to import in draft all the new employees detected in HiBob. Click on the Import new employees button.
- The import process can take a few minutes to complete. Once finished, click on the See employees button to see all the employees detected from the system.
💡The new employees will be on draft mode, so they won’t be receiving any notification until you manually activate them.
Can I prevent certain users from being synchronized?
Yes, in those cases in which you have certain people that do not need to be synchronized every 24 hours, you can add them to a denylist.
💡To create a denylist, it is necessary to have activated the HiBob integration first.
To activate a denylist follow the steps below:
- Go to your ⚙️ Settings section. Next, click on Integrations.
- Select the option of Configure the denylist that will appear under your active synchronization.
- Finally, select the emails from Nailted that you do not want to synchronize and click on the Save button to save your changes.
💡You can also bulk email addresses by spacing them by commas (,)
⚠️ Adding a person to the denylist list, doesn't mean that their profile is disabled in Nailted. You will need to do this process manually in Nailted.
