Dynamic groups are those which are managed automatically, based on whether members meet certain attributes.
You can find criteria under the information tab, on each person’s profile:
When creating a group, you assign it different attributes. For example: employees who have been in the company for less than a year, people living in Spain, or team members who are less than 30 years old. This way, the system automatically picks people who meet these criteria and assign them to the group so they can be analyzed separately.
The moment those users stop meeting the criteria for the dynamic group, they no longer belong to that group and their participation will no longer be reflected in that group. Say for example, if a person turns 30, they will be removed from under 30 group.
Here are some examples of dynamic groups:
Start date:
To measure onboarding (new hires within 30 days)
To understand rotation (users who have been in the company 2-3 years, 3-4 years…)
Birth date:
To understand different generations (Gen Z, Millennials, etc.)
Salaries:
To understand differences between people with different salaries.
Gender:
To understand differences between genders and work on equality.
