A Super Administrator is the administrator role with the highest permissions levels, having full visibility over all the processes performed in Nailted, besides having control over some settings such as creating a career path or integrating other tools with Nailted.
Who is the Super Administrator’s account by default?
When creating a Nailted account, the person that performs that action becomes automatically the first account’s Super Administrator. However, there is not a limit to the amount of Super Administrators that you can create within an account.
⚠️ Only administrators that have full access visibility over the platform can become Super Administrators.
A Super Administrator has the following permissions:
- Full visibility access over information: The user will have full visibility over the information regarding metrics or performance of all the people within the organization.
- Admin (Full access) permissions: The user will have permissions to access all the Nailted modules and the creation or modification of public and private groups.
- Set up new integrations and career paths: The user will be the only one to be able to create or modify career paths besides connecting any third party application with Nailted.
How can I create a new Super administrator?
To add and set up a new Super administrator, follow the steps below:
- Go to your ⚙️Settings section and select the Admin users tab.
- Click on the Create new user button where you will be required to add the new administrator name, surname, email address and the language in which this person will be using the platform.
- Select the option Admin (Full access) option that appears under the Profile assignment drop down. To save your changes click on the Create user button and you will be redirected to a new page.
💡The new administrator will be created at this point, but not invited to the platform until you click on the Invite button.
4. Finally, click on the three dots icon that appears next to the administrator’s name and select Super Admin Access. Confirm your action by enabling the Super Admin button and click on the Save Permission button.
💡 If your want to provide Super Administrator access to an already created administrator, it will only be required to perform the action described on step 4.
⚠️If you grant super administrator access to an administrator with limited visibility over groups, automatically they will see the entire organization’s information.
