Nailted can be integrated with Slack to be used as the main communication tool to receive surveys, claps notifications, information about reviews or different messages that administrators send to the team within a tool that they use everyday.
Using Slack as the communication channel is beneficial because it integrates seamlessly into employees' daily workflow, leading to higher response rates. It simplifies participation and increases engagement, making the overall process more efficient.
How to connect Slack
To start receiving notifications through your Slack account, follow the steps described below:
- Go to your Settings ⚙️ section and select Integrations.
- Click on the Integrations tab and localize the integration with Slack.
- Click on the Connect Slack button, review the permissions that Nailted will require and confirm them by clicking on the Allow button.
⚠️ At this point Slack will be connected to Nailted, but users won’t be receiving surveys through Slack.
- Go to the Team section. Select the Add tab and click on the Add from Slack button. A list of all the people within your Slack account will be visible, but Nailted will recognise the people that have been previously added to your Nailted account.
- Finally, click on the Link members button which will trigger a notification sent through Slack to all Nailted users informing them that an administrator has activated Slack as the main communication channel.
💡 Each person can decide if they would like to remain receiving Nailted notifications through email directly from this notification.
💡This notification will only be sent if Nailted has been already launched into your organization.
From this moment onwards, all users will have Slack as their main communication channel.
